Arden L. Bement, Jr. Purdue Policy Research Institute Fellow Support Account:
This Fellowship supports a permanent Policy Fellow staff position in the Purdue Policy Research Institute. Arden Bement, inaugural director of the Global Policy Research Institute (before renamed PPRI), served in prominent roles in industry, government, academia. Such roles include U.S. deputy undersecretary of defense for research and engineering; TRW Inc.’s vice president of technical resources and of science and technology; director of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST); and director of the National Science Foundation (NSF).

Purdue Peace Project:
The Purdue Peace Project (PPP) is a university-based political violence prevention initiative that does peacebuilding work in areas threatened by such violence and conducts research to advance knowledge about political violence prevention at the local, community level.

Purdue Policy Research Institute Scholar Interns Fund Endowment:
PPRI’s scholar interns program draws on Purdue’s immense pool of talented undergraduate and graduate students with an interest in research and policy. PPRI’s interns work on a vast array of projects including research and design, creating researched blog posts, policy briefs, and assisting the PPRI leadership team with various projects.
