Purdue Foundry
The Purdue Foundry exists to provide a clear pathway for people with big ideas to create impact. The Purdue Foundry has aligned existing and new resources within Purdue University and the Lafayette and West Lafayette region to empower innovators and entrepreneurs to envision, create and grow high-tech startup companies. Foundry tools and programs are also enabling innovators to develop and execute commercialization strategies leading to technology adoption and impact.
Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation
The Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Program teaches students in all academic majors how to turn their innovative ideas into action. Through courses and experiential programs, students learn how to put their creativity to work in the development of products, technologies and organizations that create value in society.
Competitions
Competitions provide opportunities for students to gain powerful skills and experiences in the creation and design of new technologies and also in the planning and creation of business models. Two major competitions that we run out of the Center are the Burton D. Morgan Business Plan Competition and the Schurz Innovation Challenge.
