Meeting set to begin planning for Homecoming 2018

Organizers of Homecoming 2018 will have a meeting May 23 to begin planning the weekend's events. This year's Homecoming will be on Sept. 22. In conjunction with the Boston College football game, Purdue will kick off 150 Years of Giant Leaps as a part of the University's sesquicentennial.

Colleges, schools, departments and units are invited to send a representative to this meeting at 11 a.m. in Dauch Alumni Center, Room 2205.

The meeting's tasks are to evaluate last year's Homecoming and provide guidance to the smaller, hands-on Homecoming construction team. The larger committee will reconvene two weeks before Homecoming to coordinate final plans.

Those who plan to attend should RSVP to the Office of Special Events at specialevents@prf.org. Anyone who is interested in being on the committee but cannot attend the meeting may contact Special Events to receive updates.
