Presentations set for finalists for director of Purdue Memorial Union
Three finalists for the position of director of Purdue Memorial Union will present their vision for "the future of a college union on a Big Ten campus" during campus visits over the next week. All interested members of the Purdue community are invited to attend these events.
Candidates and their presentation times and locations are:
* Friday (July 14) -- Zane S. Reif, senior director, University Union, University of North Texas. Meet and greet from 8 to 8:30 a.m. in Stewart Center, Room 302-306. Candidate presentation from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in Stewart Center, Room 302-306.
* July 17 (M) -- Eve Esch, director of student centers, University of Houston. Meet and greet from 8 to 8:30 a.m. in Stewart Center, Room 302-306. Candidate presentation from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in Stewart Center, Room 302-306.
* July 19 (W) -- Anne F. Bruno, executive director, Student Union, University of Akron. Meet and greet from 8 to 8:30 a.m. in Stewart Center, Room 302-306. Candidate presentation from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in Stewart Center, Room 302-306.
The University is seeking an experienced leader to guide PMU into its next chapter of service, learning and leadership, following the retirement of director Bob Mindrum after 22 years of service. The Union director oversees an array of programmatic initiatives, professional staff, historic facilities, internal and external partners, and high-level service enterprises that serve the needs of a world-class college union.
