Nominations sought for 2016 Focus Awards

The Office of Institutional Equity is seeking nominations for the 2016 Focus Awards.

The Focus Awards are given annually to those affiliated with Purdue who have made an outstanding contribution in furtherance of the University’s commitment to disability accessibility and disability diversity initiatives. 

The 2016 Focus Awards will be presented at the Disability Awareness Month reception at 10 a.m. March 1 in the West Faculty Lounge of Purdue Memorial Union. One award is offered in each of the following categories: faculty, staff, student, and organization. Nominations of alumni and retirees also will be considered. To submit a nomination for the 2016 Focus Awards, complete and return the nomination form and attachments by Jan. 28 to Jessie Stocker at jlstocker@purdue.edu or the Office of Institutional Equity in Young Hall (YONG). The mailing address is Ernest C. Young Hall, 10th Floor, 155 S. Grant St., West Lafayette, IN 47907-2114.
