University policy update

The Executive Policy Review Group (EPRG) took action on the following policies in December. The revised policies noted below are effective Jan. 1.
* Clinical/Professional Faculty Appointment and Promotion (VI.F.10): The interim status of the policy was removed.
* Use of Copyrighted Materials for Educational and Research Purposes (I.A.3): This policy reformats into the new template and supersedes Executive Memorandum No. B-53.
In addition, the EPRG approved the withdrawal of the policy on Occupational Health for Employees with Substantial Animal Contact in Projects Performed Under Protocols Approved by the Purdue Animal Care and Use Committee (PACUC) (Executive Memorandum No. C-21). Current information about the program is maintained on the Office for Research and Partnership’s Care and Use of Animals Web pages.
