Did you know ...

Purdue faculty and staff earn both pay and benefits for their work at the University.  These two elements -- pay and benefits -- together make up the employee's total compensation package.

When dividing its total compensation budget, the University must decide how much money to allocate to benefits and how much to employee pay. To help with such decisions, the University consults with faculty and staff representatives.
