Research interests are focused on the application of Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (MRS) for early detection and investigation of mechanisms in neurodegenerative diseases and Manganese neurotoxicology, as well as the development and application of fast MR spectroscopy imaging techniques. 

Xiaopeng Zhou

Research interests include the applications of advanced neuroimaging techniques (DTI, fMRI, MRS) and developing phantom-based quality assurance (QA) methods to monitor scanner stability.

Nathan Ooms

MRI Technologist: Nathan Ooms R.T.(R)(MR)

naooms@purdue.edu

MRI Technologist since 2014, experience with GE and Siemens MRI machines. Pediatric experience at Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis with experiences at Community Hospital in Greenwood, University Hospital in Indianapolis, and St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette. Recently, he has joined the student body on the way to achieve a Master's in Medical Physics.
