What is the Exploratory Studies Program?

The Exploratory Studies Program allows you up to four semesters to explore your options and interests before you select a major - with plenty of guidance along your journey. We equip you to make informed decisions through expert advising and teaching you how to investigate and evaluate majors and careers. Exploratory Advising

We provide personalized and supportive advising by advisors who are knowledgeable about all the programs on campus, tailored to the Exploratory Studies student experience. Click to learn more about Exploratory advising.
Exploration Courses

During your first semester in Exploratory Studies, you will take a course designed especially for our students that helps you plan the trajectory of your college career and your life after graduation.
