Innovation to Reality (I2R)

I2R is a FREE after school engineering program for 6-8th grade students. I2R provides a unique opportunity to explore themed areas of engineering through a combination of faculty guest speakers, lab tours and hands-on engineering activities. Each theme meets once a week for three to five weeks. Past themes have been related to topics of climate change, diabetes, food, energy, and water scarcity. 

Spring 2020 Session - Energized Engineering for the Environment

Energy has become essential in making our lives more comfortable and functional. In this fun, interactive, hands-on engineering program, you will explore the many ways engineers and scientists are using resources to meet our ever-increasing energy demand and how technological advances can increase how efficiently we use the renewable energy resources in our quest to sustain our environment.
