Awarded annually during Indiana’s Disability Awareness Month, the Focus Awards recognize those affiliated with Purdue University who have made an outstanding contribution to the furthering of Purdue University’s commitment to disability accessibility and disability diversity. Nominations can be made to honor Students, Faculty, Staff, or Student Organizations. Nominations of alumni and retirees will also be considered.
The Office for Civil Rights is seeking nominations for this year’s Focus Awards. The 2026 Focus Awards will be presented at the Disability Awareness Month reception on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, in the West Faculty Lounge of the Purdue Memorial Union on the West Lafayette campus. Light refreshments will be provided starting at 10:00 A.M. (EST), with the awards presentation beginning at 10:30 A.M. (EST).
