As Purdue prepares to welcome its newest Boilermakers to the West Lafayette campus, staff and faculty are encouraged to plan accordingly for heavier pedestrian and vehicular traffic during move-in days and orientation programming.

Graduate School dean on Boilermakers’ ‘can-do’ attitude, record growth

The new episode of “This Is Purdue” features Linda Mason, dean of Purdue’s Graduate School. Since Mason took over in 2018, the Graduate School has experienced immense growth, including record-high numbers both in overall and international student enrollment. Purdue University celebrated almost 1,700 students’ academic accomplishments during two summer commencement ceremonies on Saturday (Aug. 6). Eligible to participate in the ceremonies were 1,699 students – 510 undergraduate, 756 master’s, 407 Ph.D. and 26 professional program candidates.

Summer Session sets record, shows demand for Purdue education

More students than ever are graduating early, participating in study abroad and earning extra credentials through enrollment in Summer Session classes at Purdue. Purdue’s total enrollment of graduate, professional and undergraduate students across all Summer Session programs this year is more than 22,000, which is an increase of almost 15% from Summer Session 2021.
