Healthy habit formation topic of upcoming virtual Healthy Boiler workshop

Lindsay Bloom, health coach at Purdue Fort Wayne, will lead a virtual Healthy Boiler workshop titled “Set Yourself Up for Success” from noon to 1 p.m. ET on July 18. The workshop supports the physical health pillar of the Healthy Boiler Program.

'This Is Purdue': Purdue's Ashmore makes history as first woman IndyCar crew member to win Indy 500

The new episode of “This Is Purdue” features an update from Angela Ashmore, Purdue mechanical engineering alumna and IndyCar engineer. On May 29, Marcus Ericsson won the most famous race in motorsports in Chip Ganassi Racing’s No. 8 Huski Chocolate Honda, and Ashmore was a big piece of that winning strategy. Listen in as she describes her experience in Victory Lane, the Boilermaker support she encountered before and after the big race and how it feels to make history as the first woman IndyCar crew member to win the Indy 500.

As principal at Purdue Polytechnic High School South Bend, Justin Zobrosky wants teachers whose lessons rely upon experience, knowledge, education and, most of all, passion. He says a passionate teacher’s enthusiasm is contagious among students. Zobrosky, a South Bend native, was named PPHS South Bend principal in January.
