Provost’s final ‘Conversation’ to cover plan updates and questions

The provost’s final Protect Purdue virtual conversation is scheduled from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday (Aug. 4). The panel will cover updates to the Protect Purdue Plan and answer questions about testing, the Protect Purdue Health Center, academics and research and the general reopening of campus.

‘Liquid biopsy’ tech contributes to successful clinical trial for detecting breast cancer recurrence

Accurately diagnosing the spread of cancer often involves painful and invasive biopsy procedures. The use of a “liquid biopsy,” which involves a simple blood draw, has been shown in a five-year clinical trial to accurately detect and monitor certain kinds of breast cancer.
