New policy in response to pandemic

A new Purdue policy on Communicable Disease Emergencies and Pandemics (IV.A.8) is effective Thursday (July 30). This policy evolved out of the response to the COVID-19 pandemic as a way to document authority and responsibilities during the current situation and for any future public health emergencies related to communicable diseases. The policy currently has an interim status, which allows it to go into effect while feedback and comments are gathered from stakeholders.

Visit the new and revised policies page on the University Policy Office website for a link to the full text of this systemwide document. Note: This policy does not apply to Purdue University Global, as it maintains its own policies.
