Purdue Convocations' 2014-15 season, will feature more than 30 events, including an array of Broadway musicals, lectures, plays and concerts.
Season highlights include Broadway shows such as "Mamma Mia!," "Beauty and the Beast," "Sister Act," "Peter and the Starcatcher" as well as Academy of St. Martin in the Fields, Béla Fleck and Brooklyn Rider, and Brian Greene.

Laurel Weldon, professor of political science, will serve as the University's interim provost June 1-30. Weldon will assume responsibility from Tim Sands, executive vice president for academic affairs and provost, who will become president of Virginia Tech University on June 1.
Purdue benefits-eligible faculty and staff can now access Lynda.com's catalog of more than 2,500 online courses. There has been an ongoing demand for professional development and training sessions in the areas of Microsoft Office, Adobe, time management, project management, leadership and supervision, and more.
Campus Fit Club, a personalized exercise program in a small-group setting modeled after the popular TV show "The Biggest Loser," will begin June 9 at the France A. Córdova Recreational Sports Center.
Purdue Surplus will hold the ENAD Demolition Furniture Sale from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and Wednesday (May 27-28) in the Engineering Administration Building.

Athletics director Morgan Burke has announced the hiring of Tony Ersland as wrestling head coach. Ersland takes the helm of the Boilermaker program with extensive Division I coaching experience and success in the Big Ten, Big 12 and Mid-American conferences.
Qualifiers were announced Thursday (May 22) for the 2014 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships East Preliminary Round. For the Purdue women, 11 individuals and a relay team qualified for a total of 13 events, while 14 men and two relay teams qualified in a total of 16 events.
