Purdue to dedicate Unfinished Block P sculpture

The Block P, a Purdue icon that has been part of the university tradition for more than 100 years, will now become a permanent campus fixture as a sculpture designed to symbolize the importance of lifelong learning and self-improvement. The dedication on Saturday (Oct. 25) in Academy Park, north of Stewart Center, is one of several events taking place during Homecoming week on Oct. 20-25. More

Homecoming parade, pep rally are tonight

A parade and pep rally are set for this evening (Oct. 24) to help celebrate Purdue's Homecoming weekend. Game time is noon Saturday at Ross-Ade Stadium, where the Boilermakers will take on the Minnesota Golden Gophers. More

Purdue Galleries exhibits to focus on immigration issues

Purdue University Galleries is presenting a comprehensive exhibition of contemporary Latino art that examines issues of immigration. "Humanigration: The Cárdenas Latino Collection," will be presented Oct. 27 to Dec. 7, in the Robert L. Ringel Gallery in Purdue Memorial Union and Stewart Center Gallery, and Oct. 27 to Nov. 25 in the Patti and Rusty Rueff Galleries in the Yue-Kong Pao Hall of Visual and Performing Arts. More

Income tax management for farmers to be discussed Indiana farmers and others with an interest in agriculture will have an opportunity to learn about recent tax law changes and tax planning options at the Income Tax Management for Farmers meeting. More

Purdue to offer cars, vans for sale

The public is invited to purchase used vehicles from Purdue University’s Transportation Service. Transportation Service has scheduled a sealed-bid sale to dispose of cars and vans that have been replaced by newer vehicles. The vehicles will be available for viewing from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Nov. 6 and Nov. 7, and from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Nov. 8. More
