Seminar to focus on transfer of property interests

A seminar to help individuals, landowners and family businesses understand and make plans for the transfer of property interests will be held in November at the Beck Agricultural Center.

Gerry Harrison, Purdue Extension economist and member of the Indiana Bar, will present the information and take questions. Harrison, also professor of agricultural economics, has given programs on estate and family business transfer planning for 35 years.

Participants may attend one daytime session from 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Nov. 21 or two evening sessions from 6:30 to 9:35 p.m. Nov. 17 and 20.

Pre-registration is required, and there is a small fee to attend. A program and registration form can be obtained by contacting seminar host Jeff Phillips at jphillips@purdue.edu or Harrison at harrisog@purdue.edu.
