When MFA Isn't Enough

MFA boosts security but isn’t foolproof. Use authenticator apps, not SMS. Reject unexpected prompts, store backup codes in a password manager, back up MFA on multiple devices, and review session logs to block suspicious access.

Beware Of Steganography

Steganography hides malware in innocent-looking files like images or audio. Attackers use it to bypass security filters. Opening such files can trigger hidden code. To stay safe, scan files with antivirus tools, avoid suspicious downloads, and use deep file inspection. Awareness is crucial to defend against these hidden threats.

Passkey Adoption: End Of Passwords

Passwords are fading as apps now let you sign in with a passkey instead of typing secrets. Passkeys sync across devices and use your phone or biometrics such as face or fingerprint to prove it is really you. Because there is no static secret to steal, phishing, credential stuffing, and reuse attacks lose their power.
