IRB Updates Office Hours for Summer 2024

Chair office hours will continue into the summer. Walk-in sessions are Mondays and Wednesdays from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Tuesdays 1-2:30 p.m., and Thursdays 10-11:30 a.m. in HOVDE 328 conference room, just inside the Office of Research. IRB Seeks Faculty Engagement for Improvements

IRB wants to encourage your involvement. As faculty, we are all busy with research and teaching, but serving on the IRB would be one of the best ways you could directly affect IRB operations. Genetically engineering a treatment for incurable brain tumors

Glioblastomas are almost always lethal. Traditional treatment methods used against other cancers, like chemotherapy and immunotherapy, are often ineffective. A team of Purdue researchers, led by cancer institute member Sandro Matosevic, is developing a patent-pending treatment.

Karen Plaut - January Dimensions of Discovery Introduction

Earlier this month, Lilly Endowment Inc. announced that it was committing $100 million to Purdue, the largest gift in the university’s history. This generous grant will have enormous impact in advancing two major Purdue initiatives: the Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr. School of Business to construct of a state-of-the-art educational building, and Purdue Computes to enable the next generation of Boilermaker research breakthroughs.
