Purdue to co-host Competitiveness Conversation event on Chips, Qubits, and Molecules

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Leaders from industry, academia, government along with faculty, staff and students will soon gather at Purdue for the Competitiveness Conversation: The Indiana-Illinois Innovation Corridor — Chips, Qubits, and Molecules event. The event is hosted by Purdue University, Argonne National Laboratory, and the University of Illinois System along with the Council on Competitiveness.

"Chips, Qubits, and Molecules — The Indiana-Illinois Innovation Corridor," will highlight our region’s emergence as a hub of collaboration, driving groundbreaking discoveries and significant investments in areas such as semiconductors, quantum science, and advanced bioscience. It will also serve as a platform to address critical issues and opportunities facing the region and its economy, while also identifying nationally scalable best practices and solutions.

The event will convene leaders who are driving innovation in the Indiana-Illinois corridor, along with members of the Council on Competitiveness’s extensive national network. Attendees will include CEOs, university presidents, labor leaders, national laboratory directors, government officials, and other stakeholders influencing the regional and national innovation economy.

The event takes place Sept. 9 in the Purdue Memorial Union’s North Ballroom. Purdue faculty, staff, and students are welcome to attend the event which starts with breakfast at 8:15 am and concludes at 4:45 pm. Please take a moment to register here. The registration deadline is September 3.
