IEEE ETHICS-2023 - Responsible Conduct of Research Field-Specific Training Opportunities for Purdue Students from May 19-20, 2023

The ETHICS-2023 conference, co-sponsored by IEEE and the National Institute for Engineering Ethics, and hosted by Purdue’s School of Engineering Education, will take place on the Purdue University campus May 18-20. IEEE ETHICS-2023 will draw together the global community of technology and ethics practitioners and theoreticians from industry, academia, government and civil society. Issues will be explored from industry, scientific and societal perspectives, in a global and multicultural manner.

With support from Purdue's Office of Research and College of Engineering, Purdue graduate students can request a complimentary one-day registration (Friday, May 19 or Saturday, May 20). Up to 100 Purdue students will be able to benefit on a first-come, first-served registration basis. To take advantage of this opportunity, complete and submit the registration form. The deadline for student registration is May 5.

Note that this one-day registration includes complimentary breakfast, lunch (Friday only), and refreshment/snack breaks on the student selected conference day (i.e., May 19 or May 20). Students using the one-day complimentary registration can attend plenary and parallel sessions, including panels, paper sessions and workshops/tutorials.Students will get credit toward their responsible conduct of research field-specific training requirements and will be able to update their own training record in the dedicated online application.
