Sandia report highlights importance of Purdue collaboration

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – A key partner in Purdue University’s research supporting national security and defense, Sandia National Laboratories, has published the Purdue Edition of its 2021-2022 Collaboration Report, a compilation of the year’s highlights in the partnership.

Sandia collaborates with Purdue on common areas of national security and defense research such as the “CHIPS for America Act” to improve and accelerate domestic production of semiconductors, as well as hypersonics, energetics and cybersecurity.

Among other topics, the report covers a virtual quantum workshop, a novel approach to producing thin films and a patented moving target defense algorithm that adds resilience to space systems by improving their defenses against cyberattacks.
