Office of Industry Partnerships
The Office of Industry Partnerships (OIP) builds strategic collaborations between Purdue University and industry partners to develop talent, drive innovation and support economic growth. OIP serves as a central resource, offering comprehensive internal support to all university units and acting as a concierge for external industry partners.
About Us
The Office of Industry Partnerships connects organizations with the full breadth and depth of resources at Purdue University. Here, you can explore opportunities for research and joint programs; commercialization, industry partnerships and licensing; co-location; recruitment; executive and online education; and sponsorships and philanthropy. It’s an integrated, holistic approach that prioritizes strategic partnerships and provides a streamlined experience as you consider possibilities for collaboration.

What’s Happening
The High-Speed Propulsion Lab (ZL9) at Maurice J. Zucrow Laboratories has become the first research facility at Purdue University to earn the International Organization for Standardization’s (ISO) 9001 standard for quality management systems certification.

Previously granted to only about 50 other organizations affiliated with a U.S. university, this globally recognized certification enables the lab to more easily collaborate with partners in the highly regulated defense and aerospace industries.
The standard requires certified organizations to adopt a quality management system (QMS) — a collection of policies and procedures that help meet regulations and establish customer trust.
