Purdue’s Excellence in Research Award Lectures held

The Office of Research held the 2024 Excellence in Research Award Lectures event on May 5.
Each year Karen Plaut, executive vice president for research, hosts this event, which features lectures by winners of the Herbert Newby McCoy Award, Arden L. Bement Jr. Award and Lu Ann Aday Award, Purdue’s three most prestigious research awards.

Roger Wiens, the Herbert Newby McCoy Award winner and professor of earth, atmospheric, and planetary sciences, will present a lecture on his research during the Westwood Lecture Series in September.
