Jazmine Clifton (she/her) currently serves as the Director with the Purdue Promise program. Born in New Mexico, but attended Arizona State University, receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Wellness. She received her Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from Florida International University. Through experiences with AVID and TRiO, she has developed a passion for working with student access and success programs involving mentorship, shared experiences, and personal development. Jazmine serves as the Advisor for two NPHC organizations, First-Generation Student organization, and is a Faculty Fellow. She enjoys traveling, outdoor activities, dancing, reading, volunteering, playing with puppies, and eating delicious foods!

Dylan Whipple

Dylan Whipple joined Purdue Promise as a Student Success Coach in January 2021 and was promoted to Assistant Director in November 2022. He is from Mt. Vernon, Indiana and completed his Bachelor’s in Sport Management at Wichita State University in 2018. He also earned a Master of Education at Wichita State University in 2020 while working in their athletic department as a graduate assistant and student-athlete mentor. Dylan’s background in athletics allowed him to work directly with diverse groups of domestic and international student-athletes. This led him to discover a passion for improving student success during their academic career while also preparing them for a successful transition into the professional world. Outside of work, Dylan enjoys attending concerts and sporting events, listening to music, playing guitar, reading, fishing, and golf.

Alli Stubbs

Alli Stubbs joined Purdue Promise as a Student Success Coach in July 2021. She is originally from Fort Collins, Colorado, and she graduated from Coe College in 2019 with a B.A. in Biology and Neuroscience with minors in Spanish and Religion. As an undergraduate, Alli worked as a Supplemental Instructor in Biology, played on the Coe College women’s soccer team, and volunteered as an English tutor for adult refugee students. After graduating, she spent a year teaching English at a secondary and vocational school in La Rioja, Spain on a Fulbright scholarship, where she was able to combine three of her greatest passions: travel, teaching, and eating delicious food! In her free time, Alli loves hiking, reading, exploring new places, and making half-hearted attempts to learn to play the ukulele.

Quinton Skibinski is a Student Success Coach and Purdue Alumni. He was born and raised in West Lafayette, IN, and has always had a love for Purdue University.  A third-generation Boilermaker, he is a “townie” through and through. While at Purdue University he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership and Supervision and a certificate in Entrepreneurship. After graduation, he went to work for Purdue Federal Credit Union to both help the community and further his knowledge in both the personal and business financial arenas. Through experiences helping people, Quinton got enjoyment advising and helping people first hand and being able to tailor personal plans for every individual that walked through the door. Aside from work, Quinton enjoys working out, playing video games and board games with friends, going on adventures, watching anything Marvel, cooking/baking, and spending time with his girlfriend.

Dianne Pedroza

Dianne Pedroza is a Student Success Coach for the Purdue Promise Program. She was born and raised in East Los Angeles before heading out to college in rural Ripon, Wisconsin. She graduated from Ripon College in May 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics. While in college, Dianne was working part-time with Cal State Los Angeles Upward Bound Programs. As an alum of the TRIO program, she was knowledgeable and fond of the work the program provided to first-generation, low-income, minority students. She knew she wanted to continue to work in educational programs to support students. Dianne did a year of service with City Year Los Angeles, a couple of years of working as a teacher with KIPP Los Angeles Charter Schools, and eventually became a full-time staff with Cal State Los Angeles Upward Bound as an Academic Advisor. Her experience working with students of diverse backgrounds encouraged her to continue her growth in teaching, advising, and coaching students on how to navigate systems of education. Outside of work, Dianne enjoys spending time with her family and catching up on TV series.

Matt Gouwens is a Student Success Coach for the Purdue Promise Program. He is originally from Orland Park, Illinois, and completed his Bachelor's in Social Studies Education from Purdue University in 2016. While at Purdue, Matt served as a College of Education Student Ambassador and Social Studies Education Club Secretary. Before joining the Purdue Promise Program, Matt taught for five years in the high school setting. His classroom experience has shown him the importance of supporting students in their time of need. He is currently pursuing his Master's in Instructional Design and Technology at Purdue. When not helping students overcome obstacles, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter.

Lilli Hertel

Lilli Hertel is a Student Success Coach for the Purdue Promise Program. Lilli graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Human Services from Purdue University in 2021. As an undergraduate, she worked as a Library Assistant in Hicks Undergraduate Library, mentored Human Development and Family Science students, and participated in Purdue Contemporary Dance Company. Her goals for the future include obtaining her Master's Degree in Higher Education/Student Affairs as well as continuing to serve her community through volunteer work and activism. Outside of the workspace, Lilli enjoys walking her dog, Mack, going to art museums and trying new restaurants with her partner, and spending time with her family and friends.
