Deirdre Gengenbach, PMP
Deirdre is a process improvement professional who leads, trains and coaches organizations through process challenges. During her 18 years at Roche Diagnostics Corp., she served as director of continuous improvement and also held positions in Six Sigma, project management, customer training, and product evaluations. Her consulting clients include Rolls Royce Corp., Ivy Tech, Progress Rail, Hycor and QLogic.
As a certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Deirdre has delivered process improvement projects in both manufacturing and transactional areas to reduce defects, eliminate waste, and cut cycle times. These process areas have included inventory management, supply delivery and sales contracting.
Deirdre also is a trained and experienced facilitator who has led many teams through workshops. As a trainer and coach, her approach is customer focused and audience appropriate, with the goal of making even the most difficult and technical concepts easy to learn.
Deirdre holds a bachelor’s degree in biology/genetics from Ball State University and an MBA in operations from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. In addition to teaching at Purdue, she teaches at the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
John Kamp, PMP, LSSBB
John is an independent consultant with more than 25 years of international business experience and Project Management in more than a dozen industries including manufacturing, electronic document management, software, and transportation. As a PMP and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, John utilizes PM Methodology as well as Lean Six Sigma methods in a variety of business settings, focusing on triple constraints of a project, standardization, stabilization, sustaining process gains, and continuous improvement.
John is proficient in directional vision analysis, strategic execution, change management, process development, business process re-engineering, and cross-functional team education. He has successfully applied his expertise to startups, struggling ventures, and growing mature companies. John has also been instrumental in developing, growing, and leading international trade associations, developing sales programs, and sales certification programs.
His experience includes leading training and educational seminars in business processes, Project management, business development, change management, and communication. As an instructor, he enjoys motivating and developing people to reach beyond their full potential.
John is a decorated U.S. Navy veteran of 12 years.
Rachel Lamb, PMP
Rachel has more than 16 years of process improvement experience, delivering Six Sigma optimal results to Lean companies in a range of industries, including automotive, aerospace, energy and hospitality. She has led implementation efforts for projects of all kinds as a PMP® credential holder.
As a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, she designs Lean value streams and, for more complex systems, generates solutions and validates designs through simulation modeling. Rachel has delivered significant cost reduction results while also improving quality, delivery, and productivity in areas including purchasing, engineering, Visio marketing, manufacturing, and warehousing.
Rachel’s experience also includes mentoring, coaching, and training extended teams in subjects including Lean concepts, Six Sigma methodologies, and simulation. Among recent accomplishments is Lean certifying a customer support organization of about 300 individuals at a major medical company.
Rachel holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Purdue University and a master’s degree in manufacturing management from Kettering University.
Susan Vaughn, PMP
Susan specializes in project management and has more than 25 years of experience in both consulting and training. She leads multifunctional teams of experts to initiate, plan, execute, control, and close complex information technology and other projects.
Her expertise includes facilitation, requirements gathering, and design documentation. Susan also is a process improvement professional, who leads, trains and coaches organizations through process challenges. The NCAA, Sallie Mae, Boston University, the Internal Revenue Service, and ESI International are among the organizations for which she has provided her expertise.
Susan’s extensive experience includes serving as the training project manager for the FirstTuesday™ project, which was responsible for creating a statewide voter registration and election system for the State of Indiana. As a trainer, Susan seeks to engage participants and make even the most difficult and technical concepts easy to learn.
Susan holds a bachelor’s degree in business, with a specialization in computer information systems, from Indiana University.
