Purdue University offers its online Project Management Essentials, Agile and Project Management Professional (PMP)® Exam Preparation courses as a series to help learners effectively plan, orchestrate and control complex projects in their organizations. The online courses also help learners prepare to pursue certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
While these can each be taken as stand-alone courses, many learners choose to take all three courses in the series. Taking the full course series not only provides you with the most in-depth knowledge about project management principles and adaptive approaches but also offers the most value. Project Management Essentials: Core Skills for Immediate Impact

Agile Certificate: Adaptable Frameworks for Fast-Moving Projects
The Agile Certificate Online Course can be completed at any point in the series, or as a stand-alone course. It offers a deep dive into the Agile methodology and commonly used frameworks. - Content for the Agile Certificate Online Course closely follows the PMI global standards set forth in the Agile Practice Guide. Through assignments like an Agile suitability analysis, a risk assessment and sprint burndown charts, learners gain skills to become more effective project managers.
