Purdue University has won funding from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) to seed and run a two-year initiative that aims to strengthen the country’s pharma supply chain.

Purdue University continues to catalyze its international innovation and collaboration network by signing a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) and a letter of intent (LOI) with Tohoku University to accelerate research, workforce development and industry in critical technologies. The MOU was signed by Purdue President Mitch Daniels and JETRO Chairman and CEO Norihiko Ishiguro.

The High-Speed Propulsion Lab (ZL9) at Maurice J. Zucrow Laboratories has become the first research facility at Purdue University to earn the International Organization for Standardization’s (ISO) 9001 standard for quality management systems certification, awarded to the facility by BSI.
