Sustainability Internships
Campus Planning, Architecture and Sustainability (CPAS) offers an internship program for both undergraduate and graduate students to support the Sustainability team in providing a comprehensive approach to sustainability on campus through strategic initiatives, innovative projects and a long-term vision.
Mentored by CPAS staff and senior peers, interns will utilize campus as a living lab, interfacing and collaborating with diverse stakeholders to advance campus sustainability in operations and culture. Interns can expect to gain knowledge on sustainability solutions for complex systems, hands-on learning opportunities, professional skill development and a sense of purpose. Interns will primarily work with the Sustainability team, with opportunities to engage with the Campus Planning and Architecture teams.
Interns are able to work throughout the calendar year, working up to 20 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters and up to 40 hours per week over summer. Positions can become available at any time, with hiring normally occurring prior to the summer and/or before the start of fall semester.
