Retirement of Dave Frash
Dave Frash, a structural engineer with Capital Asset Management, will retire from Purdue University on Tuesday, June 30 after 12 years of service. Dave has been instrumental for the department as he has provided engineering support and oversight for a number of projects. He has ensured that structural projects align with university standards and provide lasting value to our campus. Dave has delivered experienced guidance in the assessment, prioritization, and planning for structural repair of facilities including utility and pedestrian tunnels and parking garages. Dave has designed numerous equipment supports, personnel access platforms, and foundations for various equipment, small-scale structures, sculptures, etc. Dave also provided engineering oversight for the new and improved Christmas tree raising process. He has received four Bravo awards for his work and achievements. He and his expertise will be greatly missed.
A reception will be held for Dave on Tuesday, June 30 at 1:30 p.m. at 2550 Northwestern Avenue in the cafeteria. Everyone is welcome to attend to wish him well in retirement!
