Welcome Fernando Longoria as new learning and development program manager
Please join us in welcoming Fernando Longoria, who will join Purdue Administrative Operations as the new learning and development program manager on June 1.

Fernando brings 17 years of experience in education, most recently serving as a teacher within the West Lafayette School Corporation. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to student development, data-informed decision-making and collaborative leadership. These skills translate directly to building effective learning environments and supporting organizational growth.
In his new role, Fernando will lead the design, implementation and management of training and development initiatives that support a skilled and future-ready workforce across Administrative Operations. He will oversee key programs including new hire orientation, leadership development, succession planning and training analytics, while also serving as the lead for the learning management system.
