Retirement of Irma Ulmschneider

Irma Ulmschneider, a custodian with Building Services, will retire from Purdue University on May 31 after 14 years of service! Irma started working part time in the Earhart Dining Court. She then became a full-time employee in December 2011 in Windsor Hall. Irma has always been willing to help wherever needed, even working extra hours in the dining courts at the beginning of every academic year until dining management could staff their operations with student workers. She has volunteered to work with Building Services during Spring Fest nearly every year. She has also volunteered to collect recycling during football season’s tailgate parties. She has a great work ethic and will be missed by all. She is excited to spend more time with her family in retirement.

A reception will be held for Irma on May 29 from 1-3 p.m. in Shealy room 111 (24-hour study lounge). All are welcome to attend to wish her well in retirement!
