Welcome Heather Chupp as new learning and development program manager

Heather Chupp joins Purdue Administrative Operations as the new learning and development program manager.

Please join us in welcoming Heather Chupp, who will join Purdue Administrative Operations as the new learning and development program manager on March 9.

In this role, Heather will lead the design, implementation and management of training and organizational development initiatives that support a skilled, reliable and future-ready workforce across Administrative Operations. She will oversee key talent processes, including succession planning, talent review and leadership pipeline development, while also serving as lead for the learning management system and learning analytics strategy.

Most recently, Heather served as an HR consultant, partnering with organizations to strengthen HR operations, redesign onboarding programs and improve workforce planning and leadership structures. Prior to her consulting work, she held senior HR leadership roles at Whirlpool, PepsiCo and Dow Chemical, where she led succession planning, organizational effectiveness initiatives and large-scale workforce development efforts across complex operations.

Heather holds a Master of Science in Human Resource Management from Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management and a bachelor’s degree from Purdue.

Her experience in leadership development, talent strategy and data-informed decision-making will play an important role in advancing Administrative Operations’ workforce development goals.
