Analytics and Information Management (AIM) is pleased to welcome two new staff members

Aubrey Strasser has joined Administrative Operations as an associate business analyst, reporting to Jacob Garis and the data governance team. In this role, Aubrey will focus on documentation, processes and data validation. She will also assist with maintaining the central ticket system and supporting department projects.

Aubrey brings a diverse background in office management, quality assurance and education. She has served as a quality assurance tester, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve system performance, and as an office manager, streamlining operations and onboarding processes. She also worked as an educator, where she designed curriculum and analyzed performance data to improve student outcomes. In addition, Aubrey contributed to the local technology community as treasurer for Indy Hackers, coordinating budgets, managing records and supporting large-scale events. Her organizational skills and experience in both technical and administrative roles will make her a strong asset to AIM.

Jennifer Burnette has joined Administrative Operations as a technology coordinator, reporting to Jeannine Helderman and serving as a liaison between Administrative Operations and Purdue IT. In this role, Jennifer manages hardware, software, mobile devices and related equipment for AO. She contributes to IT projects and initiatives supported by AO senior leadership, monitors the Purdue IT ticketing and request system to help ensure a positive user experience for AO staff, and coordinates with Human Resources, Payroll and supervisors to provide a seamless onboarding process for new AO employees.

Jennifer brings extensive knowledge and experience from her long career at Purdue University as a computer support specialist, a role she held since 2001. Over the years, she has supported a wide range of needs, including desktop and network support, connectivity maintenance and internal training. Before joining Purdue, Jennifer worked at Wabash National as a PC support specialist. She holds a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems from Olivet Nazarene University. Her depth of institutional knowledge and IT expertise will be an invaluable addition to the AIM team.

Together, Aubrey and Jennifer bring a wealth of experience and skills that will strengthen AIM’s ability to support data-driven decision making, streamline operations and enhance technology support across Administrative Operations. Please join us in welcoming them both to the team.
