Drew Furry takes on new role as director of Strategic Facility Initiatives
I am pleased to announced that Drew Furry has been named director of Strategic Facility Initiatives. In this newly established role, Drew provides leadership and guidance for complex, high-impact facility and space initiatives. He is responsible for overseeing university priorities in research space optimization, facility management and strategic planning.
While taking on this new role, Drew continues to oversee the Daniels School of Business new building project.
Drew previously served as project executive with Capital Asset Management responsible for project management of several capital projects. Some of his more recent projects include Ross-Ade Stadium renovations, Mackey Arena locker room upgrades, construction of the Pete Dye Clubhouse and Union Club Hotel renovations. His impact has involved transformative projects totaling more than $600 million for Athletics, Student Life, College of Engineering, College of Science and other campus partners.
Drew earned a bachelor’s degree from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in civil engineering and spent his early career working for a large construction management firm in Indianapolis. He earned a master’s degree in business administration from Purdue Global.
Drew now reports to me and will continue working with Capital Asset Management as needed.
Please take a moment to congratulate Drew on his new role!
