Retirement of Jerry Cote

Jerry Cote, a roofer with Operations and Maintenance, will retire from Purdue University on April 15 after 40 years of service! Jerry has been with the university since 1984 when he started in Building Services. He spent a brief period in the General Labor shop. Then for the last 36 years, he has been a cornerstone of the Roofing Shop. Over the years, Jerry has collaborated with colleagues across various departments, forming countless valuable relationships. In 2013, he was honored with a Bravo Award.

Jerry’s team says he has been a consistent and dedicated team member, and his presence will certainly be missed.

A reception will be held in Jerry’s honor on April 15 from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Physical Facilities Service Building (PFSB), room 1179 A/B. All are welcome to attend to wish him well in retirement!
