Spring break brings adjusted hours for some Purdue services in Indianapolis
Purdue will observe spring break from March 16–21, 2026. While many students will be away, most campus services and operations will continue to operate under normal schedules, with a few adjustments for transportation and dining.
Public safety, maintenance, Grounds and Environmental Health and Safety will maintain normal operations throughout the week. Faculty, staff and students in Indianapolis who need facilities assistance can contact the IU Indy CFS Call Center at 317-278-1900, and public safety remains available at 317-274-7911, for non-emergencies.
Building access
Several academic and campus buildings will remain open during the week with modified hours:
- STT: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday–Friday
- Student Center: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday–Friday

- Mail Services: Operating on normal schedules for academic buildings, North Hall, STT and the Student Center, including intercampus mail.
- Purdue Team Store: Closed
IU Indy services
Several shared IU Indy facilities will adjust hours during the break:
- Tower Dining: Closed March 14–22
- IU Campus Center: 7 a.m. – 7 p.m., Monday–Friday; closed weekends (March 16–20)
- IU Health Center and Jagline: Normal operations.
- IU Library:
- March 15: 12 p.m. – 8 p.m.
- March 16- 19: 8 a.m. – 11 p.m.
- March 20: 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- March 21: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to review the adjusted hours and plan ahead for campus services during the spring break period.
