MacArthur Drive to close for several months beginning March 9

MacArthur Drive from just north of Mitch Daniels Boulevard to First Street is scheduled to close Monday (March 9) for immediate repairs and an extended planned project.

The sidewalk and crosswalk located on the northside of First Street in the area will also be closed. Pedestrians will need to utilize the sidewalk and crosswalk on the southside of First Street. 

Additionally, the westbound lane of First Street will be closed from the service drive east of Earhart Hall to MacArthur Drive.

This section of MacArthur Drive is expected to remain closed until early August as part of the extended planned project.

An existing closure remains in place along MacArthur Drive from First Street to Third Street due to the construction of South Hall. This section will also remain closed through early August.

Motorists, pedestrians and bicyclists should use caution in the area and obey all posted signs and detours.
