Reminder: Lab Safety Awareness Week to take place Feb. 9-13
Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), in partnership with CSHEMA, reminds campus researchers and laboratory personnel that Lab Safety Awareness Week will take place February 9-13.
Lab personnel are encouraged to pause, reflect and recommit to safe practices. To support this effort, EHS is hosting a Lab Safety Bingo challenge. The first 25 participants to complete a Bingo will receive a free T-shirt. Bingo cards can be downloaded and submitted to researchsafety@purdue.edu.
This year’s focus highlights the importance of personal protective equipment (PPE) in preventing injuries and exposures. Safety flyers are available on the EHS website. Questions may be directed to researchsafety@purdue.edu.
