Lyft, Uber partnerships launch Dec. 10 for streamlined business travel with perks
Purdue Travel recently partnered with Lyft and Uber to provide rideshare services to faculty and staff for business travel. By enrolling in the new Lyft Business and Uber for Business programs, using the associated rideshare apps and creating a business profile with a Purdue email address, individuals can streamline their travel and earn rewards for eligible trips.
Travelers will be able to toggle between business and personal accounts to separate charges for business travel, use Purdue travel or purchasing cards to pay for business trips and benefit from receipts automatically forwarding through Concur for expense reporting integration.
Additionally, use of these programs will simplify the expense reporting process for business travel. Business and personal trips can be separated, e-receipts will automatically appear in the traveler’s Concur portal and most fields in the traveler’s expense report will be auto-populated for Lyft Business or Uber for Business trips.
Travelers can link affiliate accounts to their business profile to earn rewards. Additional information for each program is included below.
