Request key or fob access for Purdue buildings in Indianapolis with new form
Faculty and staff who need access to secure buildings on campus can submit a key, card or fob request form. To ensure timely processing, please submit requests as early as possible, as the process may take up to two weeks to complete.
When requesting Crimson Card access, be sure to include your Indiana University ID number on the form. Once submitted, the form will first be routed to the site director for approval. After the site director’s review, it will move on to the assistant director of space and facilities/facility manager, David Schippnick, for processing. Requestors will then be notified by email once their keys or fobs are ready for pickup.
If access is no longer required, keys must be returned to the office that issued them. Failure to return keys may result in re-coring of facility doors, with costs charged to the requesting department in order to maintain security.
For a smooth process, please read all instructions carefully before completing the form. The request form is available on both the Facilities Operations and Indianapolis Operations websites.Questions may be directed to David Schippnick, assistant director of Space and Facilities for Purdue University in Indianapolis, at dschippn@purdue.edu.
