Purdue to host 2025 Environmental Health and Safety Summit and Expo
The Environmental Health and Safety Summit and Expo, formerly known as the Annual Safety Chair Meeting, will take place Wednesday, Nov. 12 in Stewart Center, rooms 214 and 218.
This free, campus-wide event will bring together faculty, staff, researchers, building deputies and safety champions for a morning dedicated to safety, health and sustainability at Purdue. Attendees can expect informative sessions covering environmental health and compliance updates, along with an interactive expo featuring vendors, safety innovations and demonstrations. Experts from Environmental Health and Safety, the Purdue University Fire and Police Departments, Emergency Preparedness and Sustainable Operations will be on hand for Q&A sessions.
The summit will also highlight safety excellence across campus with the presentation of the 2025 Presidential Safety Award—Purdue’s highest recognition for outstanding commitment to health, safety and well-being. Nominations for the award are open through Oct. 1 with details available on the Environmental Health and Safety website.
Post-conference training opportunities will follow the event, including the new feature of the popular slip-and-fall simulator. Complimentary snacks and refreshments will be provided.
More details, including a full session schedule and RSVP information, will be shared soon. Mark your calendars and plan to be part of this opportunity to learn, connect and advance safety at Purdue.
