University Vehicles should seek university-owned parking spaces as city of West Lafayette implements metered parking

Earlier this month, the City of West Lafayette implemented the first phase of metered parking with ParkMobile. Administrative Operations staff operating University Vehicles should seek university-owned parking spaces to avoid citations related to metered parking.

ParkMobile meters have been installed along the following streets and areas, meaning free two-hour parking is no longer available:

• Airport Road
• Brees Way
• Brown Street
• Discovery Park District
• Mitch Daniels Boulevard
• State Street

Staff operating University Vehicles should no longer park in these ParkMobile spaces and instead seek spaces that are reserved for University Vehicles or “A,” “B” or “C” permits.

With these changes, if AO supervisors feel that additional University Vehicle spaces are needed to successfully complete their work, please reach out to Parking Operations at 765-494-9497 or parking@purdue.edu. Parking Operations will review potential changes.
