Reminder: Summer transit options available

As the spring semester comes to a close, members of the Purdue community are reminded that the CityBus on-campus loops (Silver, Black, Bronze and Tower Acres) will end on Friday (May 9), the last weekday of spring semester, as usual. Spring semester off-campus passes will remain valid through May 18.

CityBus’ regular routes will continue to operate on a regular schedule throughout the Greater Lafayette area, including select campus stops. Riders may purchase summer passes through the Token Transit mobile app. Options include:

  • 31-Day Pass: $28
  • Summer Pass: $84 (coming soon)

Instructions for downloading the app are available at gocitybus.com. As a reminder, City Bus has publicly committed to the Route 23 Connector remaining free for all riders, year-round.

Looking ahead to fall
New expanded campus transit coverage and offerings from SP+ will launch this fall. Additional details will be shared in the coming weeks, and updates will be posted on the university’s transportation website as they become available.

There is still time to complete the campus transit survey to help inform fall semester on-campus routes and schedules. The survey will remain open until 5 p.m. Friday (May 9).

The Action Council on Student Housing and Well-Being will soon discuss and communicate fall semester off-campus transit options and support.
