Reminder: Police department offering free active threat training in April and May
As a reminder, the Purdue University Police Department (PUPD) is offering free, in-person training sessions for potential threats in April and May.
Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events, or CRASE, classes provide strategies, guidance and plan options for surviving an active threat event. Topics include the history and prevalence of active shooter events, civilian response options, and preparing in advance what your response will be.
Sessions will be held during the following dates and times:
- Apr. 30, 9:30-11:30 a.m., Lambert Field House & Gymnasium (LAMB), 108
- May 20, 9:30-11:30 a.m., Krannert Building (KRAN), G018
