Professional Development Day set for Feb. 13
Professional Development Day is set for Feb. 13—a perfect opportunity for to reflect on growth, skills and future development. Whether you are a supervisor guiding your team or an employee looking to grow, take time to reflect on the following:
- What skills have I strengthened in the past year?
- What do I need to develop to be more effective in my role?
- How can I use my Individual Development Plan (IDP) and available resources to take action?
Resources available include:
- Your Supervisor — Partner with your leader to discuss growth opportunities and set meaningful development goals.
- LinkedIn Learning — Take advantage of online learning to strengthen key competencies at your own pace.
Leaders and Supervisors

Additionally, be sure to:
- Review your team’s IDPs and schedule time to check in on progress.
- Encourage employees to explore LinkedIn Learning and other resources tailored to their needs.
- Use the Leadership Competency Model to assess strengths and develop your own skills.
