Students will practice creating effective visualizations such as stacked bar charts, time series and causal chains that support persuasive narratives. Students will also learn to avoid common design pitfalls and apply proven narrative techniques to strengthen both written and visual storytelling.

This course teaches students to create data stories rooted in ethical research and respect for human rights such as autonomy, fairness and trust. Learners will develop processes to ensure transparency, validity and responsible data use.
