As an online student, you will have access to a multitude of support resources when you need help or guidance, starting with new student orientation to familiarize yourself with the online learning environment. Other services include a designated student services coordinator, help desk for technical issues, financial aid advisors and more.   

Your transcript will state: Master of Science in Graduate Studies (with a major in Corporate Training and Communication). Your diploma will state: Master of Science.

No. While applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree to be considered for admission, there are no specific requirements regarding their field of study or professional background.  

Yes. Many of our graduates have completed the program while working full time. While the academic experience varies by student, we recommend planning to spend 15 to 25 hours per week for each 3-credit course. 

Coursework in this program is asynchronous, meaning there are no set times you must be logged in to class. However, interaction with instructors and peers is a major component of the learning experience. As a Purdue University online student, you’ll access courses through a virtual classroom interface that includes assignments, discussions and other collaborative learning activities.  

You can complete coursework on your own schedule, provided you meet the deadlines and requirements established by your instructor.

A maximum of 12 credit hours may be transferred from other institutions toward this degree. Transfer credits must be graduate-level courses with a grade of B or higher and may not be applied from another conferred degree.  

Students should discuss potential transfer credits with their enrollment counselor as early as possible in the admissions process. Final transfer credit decisions are made by program faculty and the Office of Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Scholars. 

Yes. If you are a degree-seeking student and meet the financial aid citizenship requirements, you may be eligible for the Stafford and/or Graduate PLUS Loan programs.
