New unified application will allow graduate students to apply more easily to multiple Purdue programs or campuses

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Purdue University’s Graduate School on Wednesday (July 1) adopted a new unified application that will enable prospective graduate students to apply to several Purdue programs or campuses while paying only one application fee.

Prospective students can apply for up to three graduate programs at up to three different campuses, including any combination of the West Lafayette and regional campuses.

This change will allow prospective students more options for the same investment, making graduate program applications more budget friendly. Additionally, it will unify West Lafayette and regional campuses.

"This unified application will be of great benefit for students who want to be in the Purdue system. They will no longer need to wait to apply for some programs until after receiving decisions from others," said Linda Mason, dean of the Graduate School and professor of entomology. "A synchronous application rather than sequential admissions will save time and money for applying students."

All graduate programs at the West Lafayette, Fort Wayne and Northwest campuses will use the unified application. The application can be accessed through the Graduate School’s homepage.
